Sales Manager

Great opportunity for a talented sales professional to join our team! This position is for a high achiever with a demonstrated track record of success in technical pre-sales, consultative selling, prospecting, identifying, and closing.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales to hit weekly, monthly, and annual goals by prospecting outbound opportunities and inbound leads
  • Work closely with the software and IT operations teams to formulate the right solution for each client
  • Build and make effective presentations for new potential clients
  • Continually assess our marketing techniques and their efficacy in affecting sales
  • Regularly work with existing clients and work closely to make sure we are continuing to meet their needs
  • Negotiating contracts with new clients
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports
  • Collaborate with all internal teams to ensure the needs of the client continuously met
  • Understanding of IT solutions (infrastructure, hardware, software, cloud, licensing)
  • Prepare proposals and responses to the RFIs, RFPs


Position Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to have a competent IT/Network discussion with customer IT representatives
  • Ability to discuss value of Managed IT Solutions to non-technical business owners/executives
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Exhibit sensitivity and awareness of the specific needs of customers, business partners, and technical services team members supervised
  • Excellent presentation, organizational and planning skills
  • Strong passion for customer service
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in simple terms
  • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs

Education & Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in pre-sales/selling of IT Products and Services and Managed IT Services
  • Technical competency and knowledge of PC’s, networks, firewalls, servers, virtualization, routers, switches, storage devices, backup and disaster recovery and wireless access points
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Competency in consultation selling skills and strategy
  • Hunter mentality in prospecting and closing business
  • Uses sales CRMs to optimize performance
  • Valid Driver’s License & transportation
